Required Skills
Key Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic imaging procedures using various modalities (e.g., X-ray, CT, MRI).
- Operate and maintain imaging equipment, ensuring optimal performance.
- Position patients correctly for imaging procedures and ensure their comfort and safety.
- Adhere to radiation safety protocols and guidelines.
- Process and archive images using Picture Archiving and Communication Systems (PACS).
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Radiography or a related field.
- Professional certification and licensure as a Radiographer (e.g., RRBN).
- Proven experience in diagnostic imaging.
- Proficiency in operating various imaging modalities.
- Knowledge of radiation safety principles and practices.
- Experience with PACS and RIS systems.
