Job Description

Kernel is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Commercial Associate to join our growing sales team in London. This is an exciting opportunity to play a pivotal role in expanding our market reach and driving revenue growth.

In this commission-based role, you will be responsible for identifying and engaging potential clients, researching their needs, and generating qualified sales pipeline. You will utilize Kernel's advanced data insights and a multi-channel outreach strategy, with a strong emphasis on phone calls, to book meetings for our Account Executives.

This position offers significant visibility and the potential for rapid career advancement for high performers. You will collaborate closely with Marketing and Account Executives, contributing directly to our go-to-market strategy and product development by providing valuable market feedback.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and research high-fit companies and decision-makers using Kernel’s data.
  • Build and maintain a consistently updated target list with clear qualification criteria.
  • Execute a phone-driven cadence (cold calls + voicemails) to generate meetings.
  • Take a strategic view of each account in your list, and multithread to get meetings booked.
  • Mix LinkedIn, email, and phone in multi-touch cadences.
  • Book qualified meetings for AEs and provide detailed call notes.
  • Collaborate with Marketing to refine ICPs and messaging based on feedback.
  • Iterate on messaging and cadences based on performance.
  • Share field feedback to inform product and GTM strategy.
