Job Description

Tribest, a leading corporate support solutions provider, is seeking a dedicated Secretary to join our team. This pivotal role is designed to offer high-level administrative support to our Audit and Tax teams, ensuring the seamless execution of office operations and the maintenance of professional client relations.

You will be responsible for the meticulous management of financial documents and correspondence, playing a crucial part in our daily functions. Your duties will encompass assisting with the formatting, printing, and binding of critical reports, managing client interactions with utmost professionalism, and maintaining highly organized physical and digital filing systems for sensitive records.

Additionally, you will manage the firm’s calendar, draft professional communications to regulatory bodies and clients, and oversee general office logistics including supplies and petty cash. This role requires an individual with exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to integrity.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in formatting, printing, and binding Audit reports, financial statements, and tax letters
  • Receive and direct clients, manage the office switchboard, and handle inquiries professionally
  • Maintain highly organized physical and digital filing systems for sensitive client records
  • Manage the firm’s calendar, including scheduling client audits, tax filing deadlines, and internal partner meetings
  • Draft and proofread professional letters, emails, and memos to regulatory bodies and clients
  • Monitor office supplies, manage petty cash for daily expenses, and ensure reception area is presentable

Qualifications

  • OND / HND / B.Sc in Office Technology Management, Secretarial Studies, Business Administration, or related field
  • 0 – 3 years of experience
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word (advanced formatting) and Excel
  • Strong typing speed and accuracy
  • Exceptional command of English (Written and Oral)
  • Ability to handle confidential financial information with integrity (Discretion)
  • High attention to detail (zero tolerance for typos in financial documents)
