Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases.
• Design, build, and maintain automated test scripts using Java and open-source tools.
• Perform API testing using tools like Rest Assured, SOAPUI, Postman, and Karate.
• Implement BDD with Cucumber for enhanced test coverage.
• Collaborate with development teams to integrate testing into CI/CD pipelines.
• Utilize repository systems such as GitHub or Bitbucket for code management.
• Conduct performance testing using JMeter.
• Write and execute basic SQL queries (CRUD operations).
• Understand and utilize Linux commands.
• Build stubs and mocks as needed.
• Work effectively within Agile development teams.
• Utilize IDEs like Eclipse, IntelliJ, or VS Code.
• Manage testing tasks and documentation in Jira and Confluence.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Senior QA Engineer or similar role.
• Strong proficiency in Java Development with J2EE.
• Extensive experience with automation testing using open-source tools.
• Hands-on experience with repository systems like GitHub or Bitbucket.
• Demonstrated experience testing services using automation tools (Rest Assured, SOAPUI, Postman, Karate).
• Experience with BDD and Cucumber.
• Solid understanding of CI/CD processes and tools.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and working in agile teams.
• Proficiency in using Maven.
• Experience with IDEs such as Eclipse, IntelliJ, or VS Code.
• Proficiency in Jira and Confluence.
• Exposure to Cloud technology.
• Experience in building stubs/mocks.
• Hands-on experience with basic SQL queries (CRUD).
• Experience with performance testing using JMeter.
• Understanding of Linux systems and relevant commands.
• Hands-on experience working on APIs.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
