Job Description

Alta Ares is seeking a dedicated Gestionnaire Approvisionnement & Stock (Supply Chain and Inventory Manager) to join our team in La Rochelle.

In this crucial role, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of procurement, maintaining optimal stock levels, and ensuring the timely availability of components for our advanced defense AI systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage procurement processes and track supplier orders
  • Ensure timely delivery of components and proactively address any delays
  • Maintain regular communication with suppliers to guarantee reliable supply
  • Track key purchasing information, including prices and Minimum Order Quantities (MOQs)
  • Manage stock levels, including recording incoming and outgoing goods and making necessary adjustments
  • Oversee the reception and inspection of goods before stocking
  • Ensure the accuracy of stock data within internal systems
  • Organize and conduct periodic inventory counts
  • Analyze inventory discrepancies and implement corrective actions
  • Analyze supply needs based on ERP data and internal forecasts
  • Update and maintain Bill of Materials (BoM) data, including references, lead times, MOQs, and prices
  • Ensure consistency between production needs and supplier orders
  • Contribute to improving the reliability of supply chain data
  • Monitor inventory levels to prevent stockouts and overstocking
  • Implement effective inventory management and replenishment methods
  • Improve internal processes for inventory and logistics management

Qualifications

  • Experience in supplier management and order tracking
  • 2 to 5+ years of experience in supply chain, procurement, or inventory management
  • Experience in an industrial, hardware, or electronics environment is a plus
  • Experience in a hardware startup or agile industrial environment
  • Knowledge of electronic component supply chains
  • Experience in managing BoMs and supply planning
  • Familiarity with ERP systems such as Dolibarr, Odoo, or equivalents
