Job Description
Utiva is seeking a skilled UI/UX Product Designer to join our dynamic Technology Team. This remote position is crucial for translating intricate ideas into seamless, user-friendly digital experiences across our web and mobile applications.
You will collaborate closely with Product Managers, Engineers, and Growth teams, taking ownership of the design process from initial problem discovery through to the final delivery of intuitive interfaces. Your expertise will shape how users interact with our educational technology products, ensuring a world-class experience.
This role is ideal for a designer who possesses a strong understanding of both user experience principles and polished user interface execution, contributing to the continuous improvement and scalability of our platforms.

Required Skills
Key Responsibilities
- Translate product requirements and user needs into intuitive user flows, wireframes, and prototypes
- Conduct user research and usability testing, iterating designs based on insights
- Design end-to-end experiences for learner, employer, and internal platforms
- Create clean, modern, and consistent interfaces aligned with Utiva’s brand
- Build and maintain design systems, components, and style guides
- Ensure design consistency across all products and platforms
- Collaborate with Product Managers to shape product discovery and solution design
- Work with Engineers to ensure designs are feasible and well-implemented
- Participate in design reviews and contribute to product decisions
Qualifications
- 2–5 years of experience as a UI/UX Designer or Product Designer
- A strong portfolio showcasing UX thinking and polished UI work
- Proficiency in Figma, including components, auto-layout, and design systems
- Solid understanding of UX principles, accessibility, and usability
- Ability to think in systems, not just individual screens
- Experience designing SaaS, EdTech, or marketplace products (Nice to Have)
- Basic understanding of front-end constraints (HTML/CSS concepts) (Nice to Have)
- Experience working in fast-moving startup environments (Nice to Have)
