Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and direct the work of all site personnel, including tradespeople and laborers.
- Ensure all construction activities are carried out in accordance with project plans, specifications, and safety regulations.
- Manage daily site operations, including scheduling work, allocating resources, and monitoring progress.
- Conduct regular site inspections to ensure quality workmanship and adherence to standards.
- Implement and enforce strict health and safety procedures on site.
- Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to resolve site issues.
- Maintain accurate daily logs of site activities, progress, and any incidents.
- Promote a positive and productive work environment.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a General Foreman or in a similar supervisory role on construction sites.
- In-depth knowledge of construction methods, materials, and building codes.
- Strong understanding of health and safety regulations in the construction industry.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage and motivate a diverse workforce.
- Experience with reading and interpreting blueprints and technical drawings.
