Key Responsibilities

  • Manage all aspects of project costing, from initial estimates to final accounts.
  • Prepare and issue Bills of Quantities (BOQ) and tender documentation.
  • Evaluate tenders and prepare recommendations for contract awards.
  • Administer construction contracts, ensuring compliance with terms and conditions.
  • Manage and assess variations, claims, and disputes.
  • Monitor project expenditure and provide regular cost reports.
  • Liaise with clients, consultants, and contractors on commercial matters.
  • Ensure adherence to relevant industry standards and best practices.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Quantity Surveyor in the construction industry.
  • Proficiency in quantity surveying software and MS Office Suite.
  • Strong understanding of construction contracts (e.g., FIDIC) and legal principles.
  • Excellent analytical, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience in the UAE construction market is a plus.
