Required Skills
Key Responsibilities
- Manage all aspects of project costing, from initial estimates to final accounts.
- Prepare and issue Bills of Quantities (BOQ) and tender documentation.
- Evaluate tenders and prepare recommendations for contract awards.
- Administer construction contracts, ensuring compliance with terms and conditions.
- Manage and assess variations, claims, and disputes.
- Monitor project expenditure and provide regular cost reports.
- Liaise with clients, consultants, and contractors on commercial matters.
- Ensure adherence to relevant industry standards and best practices.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Quantity Surveyor in the construction industry.
- Proficiency in quantity surveying software and MS Office Suite.
- Strong understanding of construction contracts (e.g., FIDIC) and legal principles.
- Excellent analytical, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience in the UAE construction market is a plus.
