Job Description

Are you an early-career engineer eager to build a robust foundation in validation and automated systems? KPI Solutions is expanding its team and seeking a dedicated Validation Engineer I.

In this pivotal role, you will collaborate closely with senior validation engineers and cross-functional project teams. Your primary focus will be supporting the qualification and testing of complex automation systems for our diverse clientele.

Key responsibilities include executing Static IQ, Dynamic IQ, and Operational Qualification (OQ) test steps under senior guidance. You will also assist in preparing and executing IQ/OQ/PQ protocols across various project phases and support installation activities through hands-on qualification participation.

Meticulous documentation and evidence management are crucial. You will collect, organize, and maintain validation evidence, test logs, and supporting data with a high degree of accuracy. Assisting with documentation updates to ensure completeness, traceability, and audit-readiness is also a core function.

Furthermore, you will participate in deviation investigations, helping to identify root causes and support corrective actions. Contributing to a culture of quality by flagging discrepancies and continuously improving your understanding of validation processes is expected. Collaboration with senior engineers and cross-functional teams is key to supporting overall project readiness and milestone delivery.

Key Responsibilities

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Industrial Technology, Computer Science, or a related field
  • 0–2 years of professional experience; internship or co-op experience in a regulated, technical, or automated systems environment strongly preferred
  • Strong attention to detail with a commitment to accuracy in documentation and testing
  • Willingness to learn, ask questions, and grow within a structured validation framework
  • Solid written and verbal communication skills
  • Internship or co-op experience in warehouse automation, manufacturing, controls, or a related automated systems environment (Preferred)
  • Basic familiarity with validation terminology and concepts such as IQ, OQ, and PQ (Preferred)
  • Strong technical writing ability with experience producing clear, organized documentation (Preferred)
  • Exposure to automation platforms, controls systems, or software integration testing is a plus (Preferred)
