Job Description

Sundry Group is actively seeking a dedicated Warehouse Manager to lead operations across various key locations. This critical role involves ensuring the efficient receiving, storage, and distribution of goods, maintaining precise inventory management, optimizing space utilization, and strictly adhering to all safety protocols.

The Warehouse Manager will be responsible for overseeing accurate data capture and entry into the enterprise system, generating performance reports, and managing inventory levels. You will also be tasked with planning and managing storage space to meet quality and budgetary objectives, implementing robust procedures to safeguard merchandise, and enforcing security systems to minimize loss and damage.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the receiving, storage, and dispatch of all incoming and outgoing goods, ensuring proper documentation and accuracy to maximize operational efficiency and meet customer demands.
  • Manage accurate data capture and entry into the Enterprise system to support payment processing, inventory control, and informed decision-making, generating and analyzing reports to monitor inventory levels and operational performance.
  • Review and remove obsolete or redundant inventory to optimize space and reduce costs.
  • Plan and manage storage space to meet quality, budgetary, and environmental objectives, monitoring and communicating future capacity requirements to support business growth.
  • Implement and maintain proper storage procedures to safeguard merchandise, prevent loss, and minimize damage, enforcing security and control systems.
  • Maintain high standards of health, safety, hygiene, and security within the warehouse, ensuring safe storage of hazardous materials and compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Provide training and guidance to warehouse staff on proper product handling, safety protocols, and operational procedures, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
  • Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback to warehouse staff.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve customer satisfaction, staying updated on industry trends and best practices.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of B.Sc./HND in Supply Chain Management or a related field.
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Must possess a NYSC Discharged/Exemption or Exclusion letter.
  • Proven experience as a Warehouse Manager or in a similar supervisory role within a warehouse environment.
  • Strong knowledge of inventory management systems (ERP) and warehouse procedures.
  • Excellent understanding of health, safety, and security regulations, including handling hazardous materials.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills with the ability to train and motivate staff.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to generate and interpret operational reports.
  • High attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
  • Effective problem-solving skills with a focus on continuous improvement.
