Job Description
Norrenberger Financial Group is seeking a diligent Performance Management Officer to join their esteemed finance team in Abuja.
In this vital role, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of the company's financial operations. Your contributions will be key to maintaining robust bookkeeping, generating insightful financial reports, and supporting critical budgeting and performance tracking processes.

Required Skills
Key Responsibilities
- Process day-to-day financial transactions, including payments, receipts, and journal entries.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records within the accounting system.
- Ensure proper documentation and filing of all financial transactions.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
- Support the compilation of management accounts and performance reports.
- Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and areas for improvement.
- Provide performance-related financial insights to support strategic decision-making.
- Support invoice processing, vendor payments, and expense verification.
- Monitor receivables and follow up on outstanding payments.
- Reconcile supplier and customer statements.
- Assist in preparing annual budgets and periodic forecasts.
- Monitor budget performance and track variances against actual results.
- Perform bank and general ledger account reconciliations.
- Ensure adherence to internal financial controls and company policies.
- Support audit processes by providing relevant documentation.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
- 1–3 years of relevant finance or accounting experience.
- Professional certification (ICAN, ACCA, or ongoing certification) is an added advantage.
- Strong numerical and analytical skills.
- Good understanding of financial reporting principles.
- Working knowledge of accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet reporting deadlines.
