Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage budgets for projects, or operations
  • Monitor actual costs against budgets and identify variances
  • Pepare regular cost reports, forecasts, and financial analyses
  • Analyse cost drivers and recommend cost-saving measures
  • Ensure proper allocation and classification of costs
  • Work closely with project managers and department heads to control expenditures
  • Review and approve purchase orders, invoices, and expenses
  • Track commitments and ensure spending aligns with approved budgets
  • Support financial audits by providing required documentation and explanations
  • Maintain accurate records of all financial transactions related to costs
  • Reconcile Revenue and Cost with Receivable manager and payable manager
  • Advice Head of Strategy & Financial Planning prior on the impending risk on any project

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field Professional certification preferred (ICAN, PMP).
  • 4-6 years' experience in Finance, Procurement, or Compliance functions
  • Strong knowledge of budgeting, forecasting, and cost management principles
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Microsoft package)
  • Knowledge of billing, invoicing, and revenue recognition.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems (Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central advantage).
  • Strong understanding of vendor compliance, cost control, and insurance/risk management
