Job Description
Join UNICEF in Bauchi, Nigeria, as an Administrative Assistant and play a vital role in supporting our mission to protect children's rights. You will manage essential operational tasks, ensuring the smooth functioning of the Field Office.
Your responsibilities will include handling communications, coordinating meetings, managing correspondence, and assisting with event logistics. You will also be involved in processing invoices, managing supplies and equipment, and maintaining staff absence records.

Required Skills
Key Responsibilities
- Execute a wide variety of routine administrative tasks for the Bauchi Field Office.
- Manage and update staff absence records.
- Handle communications, including correspondence and calendar management.
- Coordinate meetings and events, including logistics.
- Assist with travel arrangements.
- Process invoices and manage supplies/equipment.
- Contribute to the smooth running of the team and its workflow.
Qualifications
- Completion of secondary education is required.
- Preferably supplemented by technical or university courses related to the field of work.
- A minimum of 4 years of relevant administrative or clerical work experience is required.
- Fluency in English is required.
- Knowledge of another official UN language or local language of the duty station may be required.
- Demonstrated understanding of UNICEF's Core Values (CRITAS).
