Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Dishwashing Formulation Chemist to join our team on a project-based contract.
This on-site role is crucial for developing and refining formulations tailored for the Nigerian market, focusing on performance, cost-efficiency, and stability.

Required Skills
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and refine liquid soap and detergent formulations suitable for the Nigerian market
- Optimize formulations for performance, cost efficiency, thickness, fragrance stability, and shelf life
- Conduct laboratory trials and scale formulations from lab to production level
- Recommend NAFDAC-approved raw materials and safe substitutes where necessary
- Prepare and maintain formulation records, SOPs, MSDS/SDS, COA, and batch records
- Support NAFDAC product registration and factory inspection processes
Qualifications
- Minimum of OND/HND/BSc in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Industrial Chemistry, Biochemistry, or related field
- 2–3 years experience in Dishwashing liquid soap, detergent, (preferred)
- Strong knowledge of surfactants, thickeners, preservatives, fragrances, and pH control
- Practical experience with quality control testing methods
- Familiarity with NAFDAC regulations and documentation is a strong advantage
- Ability to work independently and deliver practical, production-ready formulation
