Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Formulation Chemist to join our team on a project-based contract.
This on-site role is crucial for developing and refining dishwashing liquid and detergent formulations tailored for the Nigerian market. You will be instrumental in optimizing products for performance, cost, thickness, and stability.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop and refine liquid soap and detergent formulations suitable for the Nigerian market
- Optimize formulations for performance, cost efficiency, thickness, fragrance stability, and shelf life
- Conduct laboratory trials and scale formulations from lab to production level
- Recommend NAFDAC-approved raw materials and safe substitutes where necessary
- Prepare and maintain formulation records, SOPs, MSDS/SDS, COA, and batch records
- Support NAFDAC product registration and factory inspection processes
Qualifications
- Minimum of OND/HND/BSc in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Industrial Chemistry, Biochemistry, or related field
- 2–3 years experience in Dishwashing liquid soap, detergent, (preferred)
- Strong knowledge of surfactants, thickeners, preservatives, fragrances, and pH control
- Practical experience with quality control testing methods
- Familiarity with NAFDAC regulations and documentation is a strong advantage
- Ability to work independently and deliver practical, production-ready formulation
