Job Description
We are seeking a commercially driven Chief Financial Officer to lead financial strategy, reporting, and cash flow management across all businesses within the Biordi Group.
This role is crucial for providing clear visibility into financial movements, enhancing existing financial systems, and delivering concise, actionable reports to founders for informed decision-making.

Required Skills
Key Responsibilities
- Build and maintain weekly and monthly financial dashboards.
- Provide clear reporting on revenue by brand, cash flow position, expenses by category, inventory spend, and marketing ROI.
- Present monthly financial summaries to founders.
- Ensure accurate reconciliation across Xero and payment platforms.
- Forecast 3, 6, and 12-month cash flow.
- Monitor inventory purchasing against available cash.
- Proactively flag potential cash flow risks.
- Improve payment timing with suppliers, 3PLs, and for ad spend.
- Enhance the reporting structure within Xero.
- Oversee the bookkeeper and ensure a clean chart of accounts.
- Implement and maintain proper receipt tracking processes.
- Establish Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for expense approvals, purchase tracking, and budget control.
- Consolidate reporting across multiple entities.
- Support strategic financial planning for expansion decisions (e.g., UK, UAE), pricing strategy, margin improvement, funding, and investment decisions.
- Analyze performance per drop, per SKU, and per campaign.
- Manage and oversee bookkeepers and accountants.
- Ensure timely submission of BAS, tax, and compliance deadlines.
- Foster accountability for financial data accuracy.
Qualifications
- Experience in eCommerce, retail, or consumer brands.
- Strong cash flow forecasting experience.
- Ability to simplify complex financial numbers.
- Commercial mindset with a focus beyond compliance.
- Proactive communication skills.
