Job Description
A fast-growing pharmaceutical marketing and manufacturing company is seeking a highly competent, disciplined, and trustworthy business leader to serve as Assistant General Manager / Chief Operating Officer (COO).
This role is critical for driving the company's ambitious growth agenda, requiring a professional capable of running the business with minimal supervision, delivering operating profit, and providing strong leadership across key departments.
The ideal candidate will translate strategic direction into disciplined execution, ensuring measurable growth and sustainable profitability in the Nigerian market.

Key Responsibilities
- Take ownership of day-to-day business operations in Nigeria.
- Translate strategic direction into disciplined execution.
- Drive measurable growth and sustainable profitability.
- Provide strong leadership and control of a large pharmaceutical sales force.
- Ensure sales execution quality, credit control, and collections.
- Optimize operational efficiency across supply chain, warehousing, clearing, and distribution.
- Lead people, manage performance, and ensure organizational discipline.
- Ensure compliance with NAFDAC, PCN, and internal governance standards.
Qualifications
- 15–20 years of experience in the Nigerian pharmaceutical industry.
- Minimum of 5 years in a senior commercial or general management role.
- Proven track record in sales leadership, profitability, and cost control.
- Strong competence in sales force management, demand generation, and collections.
- High integrity, strong follow-through, ownership mindset, and decision maturity.
- Ability to act as the MD’s trusted and competent representative and run operations independently.
