Job Description
BCL Nig is seeking a qualified Site Engineer to join their team.
In this role, you will be responsible for executing project sections and supervising junior engineers. You will prepare essential documentation such as method statements, risk assessments, and site reports.
Key duties include liaising with Site Managers regarding working programs and resource requirements, ensuring that all construction activities align with drawings, specifications, budgets, and timelines. You will also be responsible for securing necessary work permits and maintaining comprehensive project records, as well as performing take-offs from drawings for construction purposes.

Required Skills
Key Responsibilities
- Execute project sections and supervise Junior Engineers
- Prepare method statements, risk assessments, and site reports
- Liaise with Site Managers on working programmes and labor/material requirements
- Set out and ensure works align with drawings, specifications, budgets, and timescales
- Secure necessary work permits and maintain project records
- Take off drawings for construction purposes
Qualifications
- Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a Civil Engineering environment
- Essential experience in high-rise building construction
- Must possess HSE Level 2 training
