Job Description
The Elevation Church is seeking a seasoned and strategic Head of Communications to lead our organization's communication initiatives. This leadership role is crucial for shaping our public image, managing our brand narrative, and ensuring effective engagement with all stakeholders.
As the Head of Communications, you will be responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive communication strategies, overseeing public relations, managing media relations, and guiding internal and external communications. You will lead a team dedicated to amplifying our message and impact.

Required Skills
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a comprehensive communication strategy aligned with organizational goals.
- Oversee all aspects of public relations, media relations, and crisis communication.
- Manage internal and external communications to ensure consistent messaging.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with media, stakeholders, and community partners.
- Lead and mentor the communications team, fostering a culture of excellence.
- Develop and manage the communications budget.
- Monitor media coverage and public sentiment, providing insights and recommendations.
- Ensure brand consistency and integrity across all communication channels.
Qualifications
- Extensive experience in strategic communications, public relations, and media management.
- Proven track record of developing and implementing successful communication strategies.
- Exceptional leadership, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
- Deep understanding of media landscapes and stakeholder engagement.
- Strong crisis communication and reputation management abilities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
