Job Description
Layer3 is seeking a skilled Cybersecurity Analyst to join our dynamic information technology team in Abuja. This role is crucial for maintaining and enhancing our security operations center (SOC) and ensuring the integrity of our Information Security Management System (ISMS).
As a Cybersecurity Analyst, you will be responsible for monitoring security events, responding to incidents, and managing vulnerabilities. You will play a key role in developing and implementing robust information security policies and standards, conducting thorough risk assessments, and designing effective security controls.
This position offers a hybrid work environment, allowing for flexibility while ensuring essential on-site collaboration. You will work closely with our Cloud, IT, and Network operations teams to address complex security challenges and elevate the overall security posture for Layer3 and our valued customers.

Required Skills
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and further develop our Information Security Management System (ISMS).
- Lead all internal and external ISMS audits on behalf of the organization.
- Ensure continuous compliance with ISO 27001, ISO 27017, and PCI-DSS standards.
- Collaborate with the legal department to ensure compliance with the NDPR.
- Manage daily operations of the Security Operations Center, including Security Monitoring, Incident Response, and Vulnerability Management.
- Create and implement information security policies and standards.
- Conduct security risk assessments at enterprise and system levels.
- Design and implement new security controls.
- Collect and report on information security metrics to Top Management.
- Implement and track the effectiveness of the organization’s Information security awareness program.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Cyber Security, Computer Science, or a related field.
- A minimum of 5-7 years of relevant experience in information security.
- One or more of the following certifications: CISSP, CISM, CISA, CCSP, CySA+, ISO 27001 Lead Implementer, or equivalent.
- Demonstrated management and leadership experience, preferably in an IT and security environment.
- Strong operational, project management, consulting technology, and process skills.
- Industry knowledge of relevant solutions, product specifications, performance criteria, and applications.
- Excellent time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and execute tasks effectively in line with business objectives.
