Key Responsibilities
- Identify vulnerabilities and potential exposures across enterprise networks, systems, and applications through continuous security assessments.
- Develop and implement advanced defensive security strategies and countermeasures.
- Lead incident response efforts, including investigation, containment, eradication, and recovery.
- Manage and optimize security information and event management (SIEM) systems.
- Conduct regular penetration testing and vulnerability assessments.
- Stay abreast of the latest threat landscapes and security best practices.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to the defensive security team.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
- Proven experience in a lead or senior defensive security role.
- In-depth knowledge of network security, system security, and application security principles.
- Experience with SIEM tools, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and firewalls.
- Strong understanding of incident response methodologies and best practices.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication and leadership abilities.
