Job Description
RUN, a dynamic logistics startup dedicated to revolutionizing urban parcel shipping in Nigeria, is seeking an ambitious Fleet Operations & Fulfillment Lead. This role is crucial for expanding our network and ensuring seamless, reliable delivery services across metropolitan areas. You will be instrumental in recruiting, onboarding, and managing our fleet of 3PL riders, driving operational excellence through a data-driven approach and expert negotiation.

Required Skills
Key Responsibilities
- Recruit, onboard, and manage 3rd party logistics (3PL) riders and companies.
- Generate and convert 3PL rider leads, meeting recruitment and onboarding targets.
- Utilize data to enhance fleet recruitment management and ensure high-quality rider onboarding.
- Guarantee a 100% fulfillment rate for all deliveries by 3PL riders.
- Negotiate delivery costs with 3PL riders.
- Develop and implement SLAs and processes for effective 3PL provider management.
- Conduct regular audits of delivery and return pickup data.
- Manage and train 3PLs to improve the distribution value chain.
- Monitor and manage live operations to enhance user experience.
- Prepare weekly and monthly reports and conduct product demonstrations.
- Coordinate fleet expansion efforts and identify new market opportunities.
- Address 3PL rider inquiries, requests, and resolve any arising issues.
- Lead communication with fleet affiliates and independent riders to maximize earnings and service quality.
- Create and maintain a reliable 3PL rider feedback program.
- Improve services and process efficiencies.
- Leverage market insights, relationship-building, and innovative thinking to drive revenue growth.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in Fleet Operations, including recruitment, training, and management.
- At least 1 year of experience in a leadership or managerial role.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- BA/B.Sc in Social Sciences, Operations, or equivalent practical experience.
- 3+ years of experience recruiting and managing 3PL operations for cost-effectiveness and on-time delivery.
- Experience in strategic fleet recruitment.
- Ability to effectively manage employees.
- Natural leadership qualities with the ability to motivate and lead teams, including indirect reports.
- Proactive and flexible in a constantly changing work environment.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Strong proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets and various tech platforms.
