Job Description
Embark on a transformative internship journey with Funding Societies | Modalku, a leader in Southeast Asia's SME digital finance sector. This role offers a unique opportunity to explore the cutting edge of cybersecurity by investigating how Generative AI can revolutionize security workflows.
You will actively research and prototype the application of Large Language Models (LLMs) to automate critical tasks such as threat modeling, vulnerability report triage, and the generation of remediation code for developers. Furthermore, you'll contribute to the evaluation and deployment of autonomous penetration testing frameworks, aiming to automate offensive security testing within our environments.
This internship also involves integrating and fine-tuning essential security tools, including Static Application Security Testing (SAST), Dynamic Application Security Testing (DAST), Supply Chain Security, and Software Composition Analysis (SCA) within our CI/CD pipelines. You will analyze security findings, filter false positives, and collaborate closely with software engineers to resolve potential vulnerabilities, ensuring robust product security.

Required Skills
Key Responsibilities
- Research and prototype the use of Large Language Models (LLMs) and Generative AI to automate threat modeling, triage vulnerability reports, and generate remediation code.
- Assist in evaluating, building, or deploying autonomous Secure AI agents and scripts for automated Offensive Security Testing.
- Integrate and tune SAST, DAST, Supply Chain Security, and SCA tools within CI/CD pipelines.
- Analyze security findings, filter false positives, and collaborate with software engineers for vulnerability remediation.
- Stay updated on AI-driven attack vectors and document internal security guidelines for safe AI adoption.
Qualifications
- Solid understanding of common vulnerabilities (e.g., OWASP Top 10) and fundamental security concepts (authentication, cryptography, networking).
- Proficiency in at least one programming or scripting language (e.g., Python, Go, JavaScript, or bash).
- Strong interest in Generative AI, LLMs, and their application in cybersecurity.
- Familiarity with modern software development stacks, version control (Git), and basic CI/CD concepts.
- Excellent analytical skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Background in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Security, or a related technical field.
