Job Description

The British Council is offering a valuable experiential learning opportunity for recent graduates through its internship program. This program is designed to provide fresh graduates with practical, real-world experience that complements their academic knowledge, thereby enhancing their employability skills.

The intern will be based in Lagos and will provide essential operational and administrative support, primarily to the Director of Examinations, Nigeria. This role also involves supporting the Nigeria Exams Leadership Team with crucial tasks such as internal communications, logistical arrangements, scheduling, and coordinating various business initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide operational and administrative support primarily to the Director of Examinations, Nigeria and other members of the Nigeria Exams Leadership Team.
  • Manage stakeholder correspondence and coordination across internal and external partners.
  • Schedule and organize internal meetings and workshops, including logistics planning, as delegated by the Director of Exams.

Qualifications

  • Graduate Level Education (BSC/HND).
  • Candidate must have completed the National Youth Service Corp (NYSC) or have a certificate of exemption.
  • Be a recent graduate (Maximum 3 years post NYSC) with excellent organizational skills and the ability to multitask.
  • Have good organization, time management, and scheduling skills.
  • Be computer literate with proficiency in the use of MS Office Suite.
  • Have an interest in the British Council Examination Products and services.
  • Fluency in English Language is essential.
