Job Description
Moniepoint Inc. is excited to offer a 6-month paid internship for aspiring Mobile Engineers as part of our Women in Tech initiative. This program provides a unique opportunity to work alongside our talented mobile engineering team, contributing to the design, development, and maintenance of cutting-edge mobile applications.
As a Mobile Intern, you will gain practical experience in mobile app development, learn industry best practices, and contribute to the codebase for both iOS and Android. You will be involved in bug fixing, performance optimization, and collaborating on architectural discussions, all while being mentored by experienced professionals in a fast-paced fintech environment.

Required Skills
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in developing and improving mobile apps (iOS & Android).
- Fix bugs, optimize performance, and maintain the mobile codebase.
- Learn and apply industry best practices in mobile development.
- Contribute to architectural discussions on scalability, performance, and security.
- Collaborate with engineers and participate in team discussions.
- Engage in code reviews to enhance code quality.
- Receive mentorship from senior engineers.
- Support testing and quality assurance efforts.
- Contribute to technical documentation.
- Help identify and resolve issues during development and deployment.
Qualifications
- One year of programming experience in Mobile Development Experience.
- Flutter: Experience building cross-platform mobile apps for Android, iOS, and Web, including responsive UIs, efficient data querying, and optimized state management.
- Native Android and iOS: Experience building custom Flutter Packages.
- Firebase: Experience with Cloud Firestore, Push Notifications, Cloud Functions, and Analytics.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Have built or directly contributed to a mobile app using a native or cross-platform framework.
- Ability to take unexpected initiative.
- Desire for personal and professional growth.
