Job Description

Fortesoft Systems Limited-NIIT is looking for a skilled Junior Accountant to join our finance department.

In this role, you will be responsible for summarizing the current financial status by collecting information and preparing essential reports such as the balance sheet and profit and loss statement. You will meticulously document all financial transactions and ensure their accuracy through verification, allocation, posting, and reconciliation.

Your duties will include examining expenses submitted by employees and processing receipts for incoming payments. You will analyze financial information to summarize the company's financial status and contribute to maintaining strong client relationships through positive interactions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Summarize current financial status by collecting information; preparing balance sheet, profit and loss statement and other reports.
  • Document financial transactions.

  • Analyze financial information and summarize financial status.

Qualifications

  • B.Sc in Accounting or related fields.
  • Minimum of 1-2 years’ experience in similar field.
  • Must be proficient in the use of Peach tree.
  • Advanced computer skills in MS Office, excel, accounting software and databases.
  • Thorough knowledge of basic accounting procedures and principles.
  • Accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with clients.
