Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Legal Officer / Recovery Manager to join our team in Lagos, Nigeria. This role is essential for managing the company's legal affairs and spearheading efforts to recover outstanding debts and assets.
The Legal Officer / Recovery Manager will be responsible for providing legal counsel, drafting and reviewing legal documents, and representing the company in legal proceedings. A significant part of the role will involve developing and implementing effective strategies for debt recovery, including negotiation, settlement, and litigation where necessary.

Required Skills
Key Responsibilities
- Manage all legal aspects of the company's operations.

Qualifications
- Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) degree from a recognized institution.
- Called to the Nigerian Bar.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of post-call experience in legal practice, with a focus on debt recovery and litigation.
- Strong understanding of commercial law, contract law, and recovery procedures.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and analytical skills.
- Experience in the financial services sector is an advantage.
