Job Description
We are looking for competent, results-driven, and trustworthy Loan Officers to join our expanding team.
In this role, you will be instrumental in evaluating and authorizing loan applications, fostering strong client relationships, and ensuring strict adherence to company policies and regulatory standards.

Required Skills
Key Responsibilities
- Identify, recruit, and onboard potential loan clients through field marketing and digital channels
- Assess loan applications by evaluating applicants’ financial status, creditworthiness, and repayment capacity
- Conduct proper due diligence, including verification of documents and background checks
- Recommend loan approvals or rejections based on analysis and company policy
- Educate clients on loan products, terms, and repayment schedules
- Monitor loan performance and follow up on repayments to ensure timely recovery
- Maintain accurate client records and documentation
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients to encourage repeat business
- Ensure strict adherence to internal policies and regulatory compliance
- Prepare periodic reports on loan portfolio performance
Qualifications
- Minimum of NCE/ OND in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or related field
- Proven experience in lending, microfinance, sales, or customer relationship management is an advantage
- Strong analytical and decision-making skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- High level of integrity and professionalism
- Ability to work independently and meet targets
- Basic knowledge of financial analysis and credit risk assessment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word)
