Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic Logistics Technology Implementation Manager to drive our logistics strategy forward. This role is crucial for enhancing customer experience, enabling profitable business growth, and championing sustainability through the deployment and scaling of cutting-edge automation and innovative technologies within our logistics operations.

You will be responsible for enabling the implementation of our logistics automation and digital transformation roadmap. This involves collaborating closely with Business Units (BUs) to ensure the successful adoption and deployment of new technologies, focusing on areas such as storage, handling, picking automation, yard management, and advanced analytics.

Your responsibilities will include supporting BUs with the adoption of technologies like assisted-reality picking, real-time logistics digital twins, AI predictive analytics, and integrated logistics control towers. You will also work with OEMs to ensure the performance of strategic installations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support BUs with the adoption and deployment of automation and new technologies.
  • Focus on Storage, Handling & Picking Automation/assisted-Reality Picking.
  • Manage yard management and Real Time Logistics Digital Twin & AI Predictive Analytics.
  • Implement Real Time Visibility & Integrated Logistics Control Tower capabilities.
  • Oversee Outdoors AEVs and Drones implementation.
  • Collaborate with local operations, Group Engineering, Group DTPS, and Procurement on key project execution.
  • Ensure projects are delivered in line with scope, budget, and agreed timelines.
  • Assist BUs in creating business cases for key projects, ensuring compliance with Group standards.
  • Facilitate alignment of automation and new technologies deployment plans during the ABP process.
  • Develop and maintain collaboration with OEMs for key strategic technologies.
  • Perform regular performance follow-ups for key strategic installations.

Qualifications

  • 8-10 years of working experience in operational logistics deploying automation or software technology solutions.
  • Strong project management skills with a successful track record of implementing innovative technologies.
  • Familiarity with Logistics digital transformation trends and technologies.
  • Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing, Engineering, Automation, or other relevant fields.
  • Master’s degree or certifications are a plus.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
  • Strategic thinking and ability to align projects with broader business objectives.
