Job Description
Global Village Healthcare Initiative for Africa (GHIV Africa) is seeking a dedicated Logistics Officer to join our vital team. This role is essential for ensuring the seamless execution of our healthcare programs across the continent.
As a Logistics Officer, you will be instrumental in managing a wide range of operational activities. This includes preparing critical administrative documents, coordinating meetings and training sessions, and meticulously managing staff attendance and personnel records. You will also oversee procurement transactions, maintain inventory records, and manage our vehicle fleet, ensuring efficient usage and maintenance.
Your responsibilities will extend to managing office supplies and equipment, supporting tender processes, and ensuring the timely delivery of goods. You will provide crucial logistical and administrative support to our program teams, enabling them to focus on delivering essential healthcare services.

Required Skills
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare administrative documents, letters, MoUs, and official correspondence
- Coordinate meetings, trainings, and office schedules
- Manage staff attendance records and personnel files
- Maintain records of procurement transactions and inventory
- Coordinate fleet management, drivers, and vehicle usage
- Manage office supplies, equipment, and general office operations
- Support tender processes, supplier selection, and procurement activities
- Maintain records of purchase orders and ensure timely delivery of goods
- Provide logistical and administrative support to program teams
Qualifications
- BA/BSc/HND in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Administration, Public Administration, or related field
- Minimum of 3 years relevant experience in logistics, procurement, or administration (preferably in an NGO)
- Good computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel)
- Strong written and spoken English; knowledge of Hausa is an added advantage
- Good organizational, reporting, and teamwork skills
