Job Description
Slum2School Africa is seeking a talented Creative Media and Content Coordinator to join our team. This role is responsible for developing and managing engaging digital and visual content across various platforms to enhance our brand visibility, drive audience engagement, and amplify our impact stories.
You will be instrumental in creating compelling multimedia content, overseeing production, and managing our social media presence. If you have a strong creative flair, excellent storytelling abilities, and a passion for making a difference, this is an exciting opportunity for you.

Required Skills
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, create, and manage multimedia content for social media, website, and newsletters.
- Develop creative campaigns to drive brand awareness and fundraising initiatives.
- Oversee the production of high-quality photos, videos, animations, and infographics.
- Manage and grow social media presence across key platforms.
- Monitor and analyze content performance, providing insights for improvement.
- Ensure consistent brand identity across all communication materials.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external creatives (photographers, videographers, designers).
- Maintain a media archive of content assets.
- Support media relations and draft press notes.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mass Communication, Media Studies, Journalism, Marketing, Creative Arts, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in media, communications, or content creation roles.
- Strong storytelling, writing, and editing skills.
- Proficiency in multimedia production tools (Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, etc.).
- Demonstrated ability to manage social media platforms and digital campaigns.
- Experience with photography, videography, or audio production is a strong advantage.
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects.
