Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Internal Auditor to join our educational institution and ensure the integrity of our financial operations.
In this critical role, you will be responsible for conducting comprehensive audits of financial statements, accounting records, and operational processes. Your work will involve reviewing internal controls, ensuring compliance with policies, and identifying potential areas of risk or financial mismanagement.

Required Skills
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct audits of financial statements, accounting records, and operational processes
- Review internal controls, compliance with policies, and regulatory requirements
- Prepare detailed audit reports and present findings to management
- Recommend improvements to strengthen controls and efficiency
- Support external audits and liaise with auditors
- Monitor payroll, expenditures, and asset management
- Identify potential areas of risk, fraud, or financial mismanagement
- Follow up on management’s implementation of audit recommendations
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Professional certification preferred (ICAN, ACCA, CPA)
- 4–6 years internal audit experience, preferably in a school or educational environment
- Strong knowledge of internal controls, audit processes, and accounting software.
