Job Description

Power International Holding is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Risk and Internal Audit Manager to join their esteemed team in Qatar.

In this pivotal role, you will be instrumental in shaping and executing the organization's risk management and internal audit strategies. You will lead a dedicated team, conduct comprehensive risk assessments, and perform in-depth audits of business processes and controls to ensure robust compliance and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement risk management and internal audit strategies, policies, and procedures.
  • Lead and manage a team of risk and internal audit professionals.
  • Conduct risk assessments to identify, assess, and prioritize key risks across the organization.
  • Plan, coordinate, and execute internal audits of business processes, systems, and controls.
  • Review and analyze audit findings, ensuring accuracy and relevance.
  • Communicate audit results and recommendations to senior management and stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with business units to develop action plans to address identified risks and control deficiencies.
  • Stay abreast of regulatory changes, industry trends, and emerging risks.
  • Coordinate with external auditors, regulators, and other stakeholders.
  • Provide leadership and expertise on risk and internal audit matters.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounts and Finance.
  • Professional degree in Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or equivalent.
  • Minimum 8 years of working experience.
  • 5 years of relevant working experience.
  • 2 years of GCC experience is a plus.
  • Strong background in internal audit procedures, analyzing internal control gaps, and preparing reports.
  • Experience in executing assignments and handling multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Knowledge of the International Professional Practice Framework of Internal Auditing.
  • Knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
  • Knowledge, implementation, and accurate execution of audit methodology.
  • ERP knowledge, preferably SAP functional skills.
