Job Description

We are actively seeking a skilled Male HR Officer to join our team and contribute to our human resources operations. This role is integral to managing the full spectrum of recruitment activities, from initial job postings and candidate shortlisting to conducting interviews and facilitating smooth onboarding processes.

You will be responsible for leveraging HR analytics to provide management with data-driven insights, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of employee records and HR databases. Additionally, you will support the administration of employee benefits, process payroll inputs, and manage leave requests, all while ensuring adherence to company policies and labor laws.

This position also involves assisting in performance management initiatives, addressing employee inquiries, and supporting the organization of training sessions and employee engagement events. The HR Officer will also be tasked with preparing essential HR reports and providing administrative support for various HR functions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in end-to-end recruitment processes (job postings, shortlisting, interviews, onboarding).
  • Manage HR analytics to help management make informed data-driven decisions.
  • Maintain and update employee records and HR databases accurately.
  • Support the administration of employee benefits, payroll inputs, and leave management.
  • Help implement HR policies and procedures to ensure compliance with labor laws and company standards.
  • Provide support in performance management activities, including appraisals and feedback processes.
  • Address routine employee queries regarding HR policies, benefits, and procedures.
  • Assist in organizing training sessions, employee engagement activities, and other HR-related events.
  • Prepare HR-related reports as required (headcount, turnover, leave summaries, etc.).
  • Support disciplinary and grievance processes under supervision.
  • Perform other HR administrative duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • BSc in Human Resource Management/IRPM or allied disciplines.
  • A minimum of 4 years of experience as an HR Officer, preferably in a pharmaceutical manufacturing company.
  • Advanced knowledge of HR analytics, HR software, Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel & PowerPoint.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Preference will be given to candidates living around Ikeja, Isheri, Ojodu-Berger, Alausa, Ojota, Ketu, Magodo, Omole, Magboro, Mowe and environs.
