Job Description
Techie Planet Ltd is seeking a highly creative and technically skilled WordPress Website Designer to join their team. This role is responsible for the design, development, optimization, and maintenance of the company's websites.
You will design and develop modern, responsive, and user-friendly WordPress websites, utilizing page builders such as Elementor, Bricks Builder, and Divi. The role involves customizing existing themes, installing and configuring plugins, and developing landing pages, blogs, and corporate websites. A key focus will be ensuring websites are fully responsive across all devices and optimizing their performance, speed, and Core Web Vitals.
This is a full-time, fixed-term contract position for 3 months, based in Lagos State. It's an excellent opportunity to contribute to impactful web design projects.

Required Skills
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop modern, responsive, and user-friendly WordPress websites.
- Build custom website layouts using WordPress themes and page builders such as Elementor, Bricks Builder, Divi, etc.
- Customize existing WordPress themes and templates to meet specifications.
- Install, configure, and maintain WordPress plugins, themes, and website features.
- Develop landing pages, blogs, and corporate websites.
- Ensure websites are fully responsive across desktop, tablet, and mobile devices.
- Optimize website performance, speed, and Core Web Vitals.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in WordPress website design and development.
- Bachelor's Degree or HND in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, Multimedia Design, Graphic Design, or a related discipline.
- Professional certifications in WordPress Development, Web Design, UI/UX Design, or Front-End Development will be an added advantage.
- Proficient in creating mockups with Figma before development.
- Proven experience building responsive and SEO-optimized websites.
