Job Description
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented E-commerce Operations Executive to join a leading garment manufacturing company in Nigeria. This critical role ensures the smooth functioning of the company's online store operations, from order placement to final delivery.
You will be responsible for maintaining precise inventory accuracy, streamlining order fulfillment processes, ensuring system alignment, and effectively resolving customer-related operational issues. Required Skills
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the end-to-end order lifecycle from payment confirmation through to final delivery, ensuring accuracy at every step.
- Identify and eliminate operational bottlenecks that impact fulfillment speed and accuracy.
- Establish and monitor Service Level Agreements (SLAs) across internal stakeholders.
- Ensure real-time inventory accuracy across the website, ERP system, and warehouse.
- Drive periodic stock reconciliation and conduct root-cause analysis for discrepancies.
- Collaborate with Commercial and Warehouse teams to improve stock visibility and sell-through efficiency.
- Oversee payment reconciliation and support daily sell-off reporting to protect online revenue.
- Detect and resolve payment failures, system gaps, and leakage risks.
- Strengthen internal controls to safeguard the integrity of all online transactions.
- Partner with the Customer Experience team to resolve backend order escalations quickly.
- Proactively monitor operations to reduce customer complaints stemming from operational failures.
- Improve checkout flow reliability and the overall digital buying experience.
- Work closely with Warehouse, Finance, and Commercial teams to align processes.
- Develop clear operational dashboards and weekly performance reports for leadership visibility.
- Provide insights to support data-driven decision-making and growth planning.
- Standardize SOPs for peak periods and campaign activations.
- Recommend automation and system enhancements for improved efficiency.
- Continuously review workflows to support business scale and expansion.
Qualifications
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in e-commerce or retail operations.
- Strong working knowledge of order flow, inventory management, and payment reconciliation.
- Hands-on experience with ERP systems, with Odoo being a strong advantage.
- Proficiency in spreadsheets and operational trackers for reporting and performance monitoring.
- High attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work calmly and effectively under pressure, particularly during peak seasons and campaign periods.
- Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- A Bachelor's degree in Business, Operations Management, or a related field is an advantage.
