Job Description
MyCityApp Nigeria is seeking a highly experienced and structured Operations & People Lead to drive efficiency and excellence across the organization.
This senior-level role is crucial for overseeing internal operations, managing people functions, and ensuring seamless cross-departmental coordination. The ideal candidate will possess a strategic mindset and the ability to implement structure, driving execution throughout the entire company.
Key responsibilities include overseeing day-to-day operations, leading HR and people operations such as recruitment and onboarding, and building robust internal systems for company growth. You will manage payroll, employee records, HMO coordination, and salary accounts, while also driving performance management through weekly tracking and team coordination.
The role also involves coordinating cross-functional teams to ensure effective communication and managing vendors, administrative processes, and operational logistics. Strong support for tools, systems, and resources is essential for success.
We are looking for a candidate with a minimum of 5 years of experience in Operations, HR, Administration, or a similar leadership capacity. Proven ability to build structure, implement systems, and drive organizational efficiency is paramount. Excellent communication, coordination, and decision-making skills are required, along with the ability to take initiative and operate with minimal supervision in a fast-paced, growing environment.

Qualifications
- Minimum of 5+ years experience in Operations, HR, Administration, or a similar leadership role.

- Proven ability to build structure, implement systems, and drive organizational efficiency.
- Experience with payroll management and HR processes.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and process-driven.
- Strong leadership and decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication and coordination abilities.
- Ability to take initiative and operate with minimal supervision.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, growing environment.
- Tech background or experience working closely with product/engineering teams is a strong advantage.
