Job Description

Shuttlers is seeking a dedicated and experienced Pilot Operations Manager to lead and mentor our team of pilots. As the Pilot Operations Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of pilot recruitment, training, performance management, and welfare. You will play a crucial role in ensuring our pilots are well-equipped, motivated, and compliant, ultimately delivering an exceptional commuting experience for our customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and execute a robust recruitment strategy for pilots.
  • Overhaul and streamline the pilot onboarding experience.
  • Champion pilot branding initiatives.
  • Lead the Shuttlers Pilot Academy and develop standardized training curriculum.
  • Implement ongoing training schedules and refresher courses.
  • Ensure pilots are equipped with necessary tools and uniforms.
  • Drive service excellence by monitoring key metrics.
  • Implement a performance management system.
  • Serve as the escalation point for pilot-related operational issues.
  • Develop retention programs to reduce churn.
  • Oversee pilot welfare initiatives and create pathways for their personal growth.
  • Act as the primary advocate for pilots.
  • Manage the database of pilot documentation.
  • Proactively support pilots in the renewal process of their documents.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in Logistics, Ride-Hailing, Fleet Management, or Mobility Operations and Management.
  • Proven experience in designing or managing driver training programs/academies.
  • Strong background in managing blue-collar workforce relationships with high emotional intelligence.
  • Deep understanding of local transport laws, traffic regulations, and required documentation for commercial drivers.
  • Comfortable using fleet management software, data analytics tools, and mobile applications.
