Job Description

Bitoshi Africa is seeking a highly meticulous and dedicated QA Analyst to join our Engineering team. At Bitoshi, quality is paramount as we build trust with every transaction across Africa and beyond. This role is critical in ensuring our products are stable, secure, and deliver an exceptional user experience.

You will play a vital role in our product development lifecycle, working closely with developers and product managers to identify and resolve issues, ultimately contributing to the seamless delivery of our innovative fintech and crypto solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Test web and mobile applications to ensure functionality, performance, and reliability.
Create and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and regression tests.
Identify, document, and meticulously track bugs through to resolution.
Collaborate closely with developers and product managers throughout the entire release cycle.
Validate fixes and ensure smooth, error-free releases across all platforms.
Actively contribute to improving QA processes and testing standards as the product scales.

Qualifications

2-4 years of proven experience in software quality assurance.
Strong understanding and practical application of manual testing methodologies.
Demonstrated experience in testing both web and mobile applications.
Exceptional attention to detail and strong communication skills.
Ability to think like a user and proactively anticipate potential edge cases.
Experience with automated testing tools (bonus).
Prior experience testing fintech, crypto, or high-security applications (bonus).
Familiarity with Agile or startup development workflows (bonus).
A passion for improving processes rather than just following them (bonus).
