Job Description
Afrimash is seeking a meticulous Quality Assurance (QA) Tester to join our innovative team in Ibadan. In this crucial role, you will be instrumental in upholding the integrity and seamless functionality of our diverse digital platforms, including AVA, our USSD service, the Afrimash Marketplace (web and mobile), Vendor HQ, and the Agent Dashboard.
Your primary responsibility will be to conduct comprehensive end-to-end testing, ensuring every user journey, from initial registration through to final checkout, is robust and error-free. You will design and execute manual and regression tests, meticulously identify, document, and track bugs, and collaborate closely with our development and product management teams to validate fixes and ensure system stability before deployment.

Required Skills
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct end-to-end testing of user journeys from registration to checkout/order placement on all Afrimash platforms.
- Design and execute manual and regression tests for new features, updates, and bug fixes.
- Identify, document, and track bugs, errors, and inconsistencies using internal tools.
- Collaborate with developers and the Product Manager to validate fixes and retest before deployment.
- Perform cross-platform testing to ensure consistency across web, mobile, and USSD environments.
- Provide detailed test reports, insights, and feedback to the Product Manager.
- Contribute to improving QA processes, documentation, and testing standards.
- Participate in release testing to confirm system stability after deployments.
- Set up automated testing so that manual testing can over time wind down.
Qualifications
- 1–3 years of experience in a software testing or QA role.
- Strong understanding of testing methodologies, test case creation, and bug tracking.
- Hands-on experience testing web, mobile, or USSD applications.
- Familiarity with tools such as Jira, Trello, or other issue-tracking systems.
- Detail-oriented mindset with strong documentation and communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with developers, designers, and product teams.
- Basic knowledge of e-commerce, payment flow, or transactional systems is a plus.
