Job Description

Suacasa is seeking a qualified Safety Officer to join our team in Lagos. This critical role is responsible for ensuring a safe and compliant working environment across all our construction sites.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement site-specific safety plans and procedures.

Qualifications

  • BSc / HND in Environmental Health & Safety, Engineering, or related disciplines.
  • NEBOSH, IOSH, OSHA, or other recognized safety certification is required.
  • Minimum of 3 - 5 years of relevant experience in construction health and safety management.
  • Strong knowledge of construction safety standards and regulations.
  • Expertise in risk assessment and hazard identification.
  • Proficiency in incident investigation and reporting skills.
  • Ability in safety training and team engagement.
  • Excellent attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
  • Effective leadership and communication skills.
  • Professional membership with relevant safety bodies is an added advantage.
