Job Description

We are seeking a motivated Tech Sales Associate to drive the acquisition and revenue growth of our restaurant and nightlife technology solutions. This role is crucial for generating leads, converting prospects into paying clients, and managing the commercial aspects of customer accounts, including pricing, subscriptions, and renewals.

You will also be responsible for fostering post-conversion relationships, providing onboarding support, and acting as the primary point of contact for commercial inquiries. Success in this position will be measured by your ability to meet sales targets, maintain accurate records, and contribute valuable market insights.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and generate qualified leads through field visits, cold outreach, referrals, and partnerships.
  • Conduct product demonstrations and communicate the value of the company’s restaurant and nightlife technology solutions.
  • Convert prospects into active paying clients.
  • Manage commercial discussions including pricing, subscription plans, renewals, and upgrades.
  • Ensure timely activation of subscriptions and second-month payments from onboarded suppliers.
  • Track and follow up on renewals and expansion opportunities (upgrades and longer-term plans).
  • Maintain accurate records of subscriptions, contracts, and revenue performance.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with restaurants, nightlife owners, and managers.
  • Provide onboarding support and basic training support to new clients.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction and act as the first point of contact for commercial inquiries.
  • Resolve basic client issues and escalate technical matters appropriately.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of leads, conversions, and client interactions.
  • Provide feedback on market trends, customer needs, and competitor activity.
  • Work closely with Product Enablement Specialists to improve product adoption and customer retention.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in sales, business development, or commercial roles (preferably in tech or hospitality).
  • NYSC certificate is compulsory.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage field-based sales activities.
  • Good knowledge of the hospitality market in Abuja, Lagos, Ogun, or Ibadan is an advantage.
  • Proficiency in basic digital tools (CRM systems, Google Workspace, mobile apps).
