Job Description

Urbacon Saudi Company is seeking a skilled Accountant to join their team in Saudi Arabia. This role is crucial for managing and maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations, and providing essential insights to support strategic decision-making.

In this position, you will be responsible for preparing and analyzing financial statements, examining business operations, and developing budgets. You will also be tasked with implementing and documenting robust accounting systems, ensuring the real-time availability of financial data for management review.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and have demonstrable experience in financial management. Proficiency with ERP systems, particularly SAP, is a key requirement for success in this role.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare, examine, and analyze accounting records, financial statements.
  • Analyze business operations, trends, costs, revenues, financial commitments.
  • Establish tables of accounts, and recorded all entries in its proper accounts.
  • Develop, maintain, and analyze budgets, preparing periodic reports that compare budgeted costs to actual costs.
  • Develop, implement, modify, and document recordkeeping and accounting systems.
  • Prepare, examine, and analyze accounting records, financial statements, and other financial reports to assess accuracy, completeness, and conformance to reporting and procedural standards.
  • Ensure the accuracy of data contained on all Financial Reports.
  • Analyze business operations, trends, costs, revenues, financial commitments, and obligations, to project future revenues and expenses or to provide advice.
  • Ensure that records and analysis reflect the true and accurate measure of the business as presented in the graphs and are available on a real-time basis.
  • Develop, maintain, and analyze budgets, prepare periodic reports that compare budgeted costs to actual costs.
  • Ensure that analysis reflects true and accurate data of actual costs VS budgeted costs.
  • Develop, implement, modify, and document recordkeeping and accounting systems, making use of current computer technology.
  • Ensures proficient use of assigned program aiming at real-time availability of financial reports.
  • Support the implementation of HSE initiatives, participate in safety awareness activities, and contribute to incident reporting and resolution in alignment with company and IMS policies

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounts and Finance
  • Professional Qualification in Certified Public Accountant (CPA)
  • Knowledgeable of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and practices.
  • Knowledge of the financial markets and banking.
  • Knowledge of the analysis and reporting of financial data.
  • In-depth and demonstrable experience in financial management and accounting
  • ERP knowledge preferably SAP functional skills are a requirement to be successful in this role.
  • Minimum 5 year(s) working experience, 3 year(s) relevant working experience, 2 year (s) GCC is a plus
