Job Description

Savannah Tech is seeking a dedicated Support Engineer to join our fully remote team. This role is critical for ensuring our clients receive timely and effective technical assistance for our SaaS products. You will be the frontline for troubleshooting, problem-solving, and maintaining high customer satisfaction.

Your responsibilities will include managing inbound tickets, performing in-depth investigations using SQL and logging tools, and communicating resolutions clearly to customers. You will also play a key role in identifying recurring issues and escalating them with detailed context to our engineering teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own and manage inbound support tickets from initial contact to resolution.
  • Investigate customer issues using SQL queries to analyze data and validate records.
  • Utilize logging and observability tools (e.g., Coralogix) to diagnose technical problems.
  • Reproduce reported issues and document findings clearly for escalation.
  • Escalate complex issues to the R&D team with comprehensive context, including SQL results and log snippets.
  • Provide clear, calm, and timely updates to customers throughout the resolution process.
  • Identify trends in support requests and proactively flag potential customer-impacting issues.
  • Maintain and update internal knowledge base articles and runbooks as new patterns emerge.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in customer support, technical support, or customer success, preferably in a SaaS environment.
  • Excellent written English skills, with the ability to provide clear, structured, and customer-friendly updates.
  • Demonstrated ability to take ownership of support tickets and see them through to resolution.
  • Comfortable working with ambiguity and quickly learning new products.
  • Proficient in running basic SQL queries (filtering, joins, record validation).
  • Experience using logging and monitoring tools such as Coralogix, Datadog, Grafana, or New Relic.
  • Ability to read JSON, interpret error messages, and perform basic root-cause analysis.
