Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Engage marketing-generated, inbound, and outbound leads via phone calls and email.
  • Educate prospects on Rise’s investment products, benefits, risks, and returns in clear, simple terms.
  • Qualify prospects based on investment readiness, risk appetite, and funding capacity.
  • Convert qualified leads into active, funded Rise accounts.
  • Guide customers through onboarding, KYC, and first deposit processes.
  • Handle objections related to trust, compliance, FX exposure, security, and investment concerns.
  • Support customers in selecting suitable investment products based on their goals.
  • Answer customer questions and address complaints or doubts professionally.
  • Accurately enter, update, and maintain customer and lead data in CRM tools.
  • Track follow-ups, deal stages, call activity, and conversion progress.
  • Meet or exceed monthly sales targets, KPIs, and response-time SLAs.
  • Collaborate with Customer Success, Product, Compliance, and Sales Operations teams.
  • Share customer feedback, objections, and insights to improve sales processes.
  • Go the extra mile to facilitate future sales and long-term customer relationships.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Finance, Business Administration, Accounting, or a related field is preferred.
  • 1–3 years of experience in telesales, inside sales, or customer acquisition (fintech experience is a plus).
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets, preferably over the phone.
  • Strong phone presence with persuasive communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to learn financial products quickly and explain them clearly to prospects.
  • Comfort using CRM tools, digital sales platforms, and telephone systems.
  • Results-driven, target-oriented mindset with strong follow-up discipline.
  • Basic understanding of financial or investment products, or strong willingness to learn.
  • Familiarity with Nigerian retail investors and common FX-related concerns is an advantage.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong objection-handling and closing abilities.
  • Confidence presenting products and services over the phone.
  • A customer-first mindset with the ability to build trust quickly.
  • Attention to detail when maintaining records and CRM hygiene.
  • Resilience, persistence, and motivation to hit ambitious sales goals.
  • The ability to collaborate cross-functionally and adapt in a fast-moving environment.
