Job Description

Azizi Developments is seeking a detail-oriented Transport Coordinator to manage and optimize the movement of materials and equipment for our construction sites.

In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating all transportation logistics, ensuring timely and efficient delivery of resources to various project locations. Your efforts will be crucial in maintaining project schedules and controlling operational costs by managing our fleet and external transport providers effectively.

Key Responsibilities

Coordinate the scheduling and dispatch of vehicles for material and equipment transport.
Plan and optimize delivery routes to ensure efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
Liaise with site managers and procurement teams to understand material requirements and delivery timelines.
Manage relationships with third-party logistics providers and negotiate service agreements.
Maintain accurate records of all transportation activities, including mileage, fuel consumption, and delivery times.
Ensure compliance with all relevant transportation laws and safety regulations.
Monitor fleet maintenance schedules and coordinate repairs as needed.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
2-4 years of experience in transport coordination, fleet management, or a similar logistics role.
Proficiency in using transportation management systems (TMS) or similar logistics software.
Strong understanding of UAE transportation regulations and best practices.
Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
