Job Description

The Salesforce ecosystem is experiencing rapid expansion, driven by increasing demand for integrated cloud solutions. As a Senior QA Automation Engineer at Flosum, you will architect and implement a sophisticated automated testing framework. This role is pivotal for ensuring the integrity of data synchronization between AWS cloud applications and Salesforce metadata. Your expertise will directly impact the reliability and security of enterprise-level DevOps and data backup solutions, contributing significantly to business ROI through robust quality assurance.

In this critical role, you will be instrumental in designing and deploying an end-to-end automated testing framework. This framework will seamlessly bridge Flosum's AWS-hosted web applications with its core Salesforce architecture. You will develop automated tests for user journeys that span both platforms, ensuring secure and efficient data synchronization. Key responsibilities include creating stable UI tests for Salesforce Lightning, capable of handling dynamic elements and Shadow DOM components, and building robust API automation suites for validating real-time data integrations and inter-system communication.

Key Responsibilities

Design and implement an automated testing framework covering both AWS-hosted web applications and connected Salesforce native workflows.
Automate end-to-end user journeys that cross platforms, including actions initiated in the cloud web UI that trigger deployments or metadata backups within Salesforce.
Create stable UI tests for Salesforce Lightning that resist dynamic ID changes and effectively handle Shadow DOM components using tools like UTAM, Playwright, or enterprise testing solutions.
Develop robust API automation suites to validate real-time data integrations, webhooks, and secure queues operating between AWS and Salesforce.
Integrate automated test suites cleanly into modern Git-based CI/CD pipelines.

Qualifications

4+ years in QA Automation Engineering, with a focus on complex enterprise integrations.
Deep Salesforce Expertise: Exceptional understanding of Salesforce Lightning architecture, metadata, security models, and developer workflows.
Technical Stack Proficiency: Skilled in code-first automation (e.g., Playwright, Cypress, Selenium) OR possess deep expertise in Salesforce-specific automated testing systems (e.g., Provar, ACCELQ, or UTAM framework).
API & Database Testing: Expertise in REST API testing and a strong command of SOQL queries for direct Salesforce database verification.
DevOps Mindset: Solid experience setting up automated test steps within CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitHub Actions, GitLab, or cloud developer tools).
