Job Description
Ignite IT is seeking a skilled Salesforce Developer to join their remote team. This role offers the opportunity to significantly impact business processes through innovative Salesforce solutions.
In this position, you will be instrumental in developing and maintaining critical Salesforce functionalities. Your responsibilities will include writing APEX code and triggers, leveraging Salesforce Flow Builder for process automation, and ensuring code quality through comprehensive test classes. You will also be involved in CI/CD activities, debugging existing code, and troubleshooting production issues to identify root causes.
As a primary system administrator, you will manage the Salesforce environment, including data feeds and integrations. You will collaborate with stakeholders to evaluate and complete new development requests, establish administrative processes, and manage change activities. Additionally, you will contribute to training new users and enhancing the overall Salesforce expertise within the organization.

Required Skills
Key Responsibilities
- Develop APEX code and triggers
- Automate complex business processes with Salesforce Flow Builder
- Develop test classes to ensure minimum 75% code coverage
- Perform CI/CD activities
- Debug existing code base and take necessary corrective actions
- Troubleshoot production issues and determine root cause
- Serve as primary system administrator for the enterprise Salesforce.com environment
- Manage Salesforce.com data feeds and other integrations
- Coordinate the evaluation, scope and completion of new development requests
- Work with institutional management team to establish suitable processes to support administrative development, and change management activities
- Assist in training new users, and grow the Salesforce.com skill set across the organization
Qualifications
- Must be a U.S. Citizen with the ability to pass CBP background investigation
- College degree (B.S.) in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Management Systems or a related discipline. Equivalent professional experience will be considered in lieu of degree
- Minimum three years of experience as a Salesforce.com developer
- Salesforce.com developer certifications
- Strong understanding of the platform, with the ability to build custom components to meet user requirements
- Strong understanding of Salesforce.com best practices and functionality
- Experience in creating Unlocked Packages is preferred, but not required
- Previous experience working in a Scrum or Agile environment preferred
- Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines, handle and prioritize simultaneous requests
- Creative and analytical thinker with strong problem-solving skills
- Must demonstrate exceptional verbal and written communication skills
- Must demonstrate ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the organization
