Job Description

SPIE Services Nigeria Limited is seeking a dedicated Onshore Admin Assistant to join our team in Nigeria. This role is vital for supporting our JV Onshore operations through comprehensive administrative assistance.

In this position, you will collaborate closely with the Admin team to meticulously follow up on payments for ongoing contracts, with a particular focus on salary-related disbursements and the compilation of monthly departmental performance reports. Your responsibilities will extend to working with the Finance team to ensure timely processing of monthly contract payments and supporting the Cost Control team with monthly reports, including transaction listings and commitment analysis presentations.

A key objective of this role is to achieve zero tolerance for payment delays to community contractors and to ensure no departmental overperformance. You will also provide essential support for NUIMS BUDGET and Performance defense.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support JV Onshore in all administrative tasks as advised by the Senior Liaison Officer.
  • Follow up on payments for running contracts, especially salary-related ones.
  • Compile monthly performance reports by department.
  • Work closely with the JV Onshore admin team for monthly performance tracking.
  • Liaise with the Finance team to follow up on running contract monthly payments.
  • Assist the Cost Control team with monthly reports, transaction listings, and commitment analysis presentations.
  • Support NUIMS BUDGET / Performance defense.
  • Work towards reducing payment delays for community contractors to zero tolerance.
  • Ensure no overperformance of any departments.

Qualifications

  • Graduate degree.
  • Minimum of 5 years of work experience in the Oil & Gas Industry.
  • Expert proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • Expert proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint.
  • Highly analytical with the ability to propose innovative and workable alternatives or solutions.
  • Very fluent in spoken and written English.
  • Possession of a Medical Certificate.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience required.
