Job Description

Gennex Technologies is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Officer to join our team and spearhead our market expansion efforts in the solar energy sector.

In this pivotal role, you will identify and cultivate new business opportunities, develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders and clients, and conduct comprehensive market research to uncover trends and potential growth areas. You will also be responsible for preparing and delivering compelling presentations, negotiating and closing deals, and staying abreast of industry advancements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and cultivate new business opportunities in the solar energy sector.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, clients, and partners.
  • Conduct market research to identify trends, competitors’ activities, and potential opportunities for business expansion.
  • Prepare and deliver compelling presentations to prospective clients.
  • Collaborate with projects and CX teams to create effective strategies for lead generation and client acquisition.
  • Negotiate and close deals, ensuring mutually beneficial agreements for both the company and clients.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, technological advancements, and regulatory changes affecting the solar energy market.
  • Work closely with the technical team to ensure a thorough understanding of our solar products and services.

Qualifications

  • Graduate with experience in the Solar energy industry
  • A postgraduate degree is an additional advantage
  • A minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in Solar energy
  • Experience in writing proposals and making presentations
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Strong organizational skills and interpersonal skills
  • Strong analytical skills, detail-oriented, and ability to manage multiple customers
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
